I was quite surprised! I'm always down for good food and local flare, this place has both.
Located not too far from a few choice lounges, the menu hit the spot.

Chicken was fried perfectly, rolls buttery toasted and the sauce was excellent. Try the 3 piece combo or meal with the ketchup/hot sauce drizzled on top.... Yasssss huny, it's better than most bar food.

Only down side is the intercom system... kind of sucks.  Had to repeat our order 3 times.

This is nothing about the food. If you need a cheap bite to eat then fine, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I ordered on Uber Eats and one of the items was $3.99. Apparently it's actually $4.99. Instead of eating the cost and fixing it later they called me to essentially say "hey either let us tack on this dollar or we'll just take off the sandwich. It's just a dollar so I do it, but that's just bad customer service to me for food that is just ok.

Seriously the best fried chicken in town. I've ordered from here more times than I care to admit. The breading on the chicken is seasoned perfectly.

Went back after my 5 month hiatus dealing with this place. MY LAST EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE DUE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I use to love the restaurant's food. However, each time I return I'm reminded why I don't go back. Customer Service ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Look at the Facebook reviews, if you think I'm exaggerating. This time around they gave me BURNT chicken. I would of took a picture but I was so disappointed I threw it away! This restaurant is a staple in the city of St. Louis. Either they need new management or close this place down FOR GOOD

Hometown chicken joint famous for the combo hot sauce + ketchup splatter over the crispy fried chicken wings, fries and dinner roll. Nothing fancy, definitely no frills here...Orders come in a plain white paper box. Napkins and utensils upon request. I realize chicken joints are currently on the rise in St. Louis but it would behoove locals to support the staples during their chicken escapades. If you enjoy that cast iron fried chicken like mama use to make you'll love London's. Not for the faint of heart. It's gonna have grease, batter, salt, fat and all the additives that make fried chicken so addictive and delicious.

Over the decades London & Son's or London's Winghouse has been come and gone, expanded and disbanded but you can currently find them up and running through the wee hours at the intersection of MLK & Kienlen (across from BP).

Don't forget the hot sauce & ketchup.
    ~Christy
